Details for the upcoming Sad Summer Fest have been revealed. The festival will be a traveling one similar to the Vans Warped Tour. The headliners for the traveling festival will be The Maine, Mayday Parade, State Champs, and The Wonder Years with the supporting acts being Mom Jeans, Stand Atlantic, Just Friends, and L.I.F.T.

In a press release, members of the headlining bands expressed their excitement for the upcoming tour.

“What could be better than being emo with your best friends in the sweet summer sun? Being emotional with your friends in the sweet summer sun at the Sad Summer Festival, that’s what. Ditch the cold hot dogs and fucked up sunburns and join The Maine, Mayday Parade, State Champs, and so many more all summer ’19 long!”
– John O’Callaghan, The Maine

“This tour is about putting aside our differences and coming together as a community of people to enjoy music and art. I’m thrilled to be a part of it and I can’t wait to see everyone out there.”
– Derek Sanders, Mayday Parade.

“We’ll be headlining Sad Summer Festival alongside some amazing bands that have inspired us along the way and that we can now call our friends. A true honor. It’s sure to be a wild time. Get your tickets and we’ll see you there!”
– Derek DiScanio, State Champs

“We’re gonna be doing a stretch of shows this July on the Sad Summer Festival alongside some very good bands. If you live near one of these cities, we’d love to sing and yell and flail around in the sun with you. Looking forward to feeling alive together. Winter is dead. Long live the Summer.”
– Dan Campbell, The Wonder Years

Four Year Strong, Set It Off, Forever The Sickest Kids, Every Avenue, and Emo Nite will also be at select dates of the show. The tour will also feature several unique fan experiences including interactive activities on-site, exclusive merch, and more. The festival is also incorporating a non-profit partner with more information to be reveled in the coming months. Pre-sale tickets are now on sale here and make sure to use the code “SAD”. General admission tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10 am, although tickets for the Anaheim date won’t be available until April 5th at 10 am PST.
