Joe Taylor and Dan Lambton, lead singers of Knuckle Puck and Real Friends respectively, are collaborating on a project called, rationale. Joining them on the project are Nick Casasanto and Ryan Rumchaks of Knuckle Puck. They released Confines, their debut EP in December of 2015.

We started rationale. because we love hanging out and making music with our friends. This is what has come of that so far. -rationale. via bandcamp

It was followed by an acoustic rendition of the EP the subsequent December. Recorded during the fall of 2016 while on tour with The Wonder Years, Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, Moose Blood, and Seaway.

This EP was recorded over the course of a tour consisting of The Wonder Years, Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, Moose Blood and Seaway during October and November 2016. These renditions were tracked in venue bathrooms, green rooms, van trailers, and the like and we were fortunate enough to have some of our friends on the tour lend their voices. -rationale. via bandcamp

In the summer of 2017, rationale. released a demo and an acoustic version of a new song, “Space Anglia”

Knuckle Puck posted on their Instagram story yesterday a message informing us that new rationale. music would be coming soon. They are selling shirts with a QR code sewn into it. The code enables you to listen to the album before it comes out. All signs seem to point at the album title being you are flawed, but you’ll be fine.
